The Church of Visitation and Calvary was built in the XVII century."The dimensions and the style of the church are the original ones, but the inside and the covering have been modified. There was once a gable roof, replaced, later, by a vault in stone. It was, therefore, necessary, to build the buttresses still today visible. The inside changes were realized after 1744 when it was built an altar devoted to the crucifix. Outside: The front is very simple. The main door is delimited by a projecting frame and it is surmounted by a big window. A tympanum, interrupted in its median part by the statue of an angel, closes the front in its upper part. On the left side there is the bell tower. Close to the church, on the right side, it is located the Calvary. Inside: the church is overall very simple, with the only altar, set in a frame, carved with vegetable motifs. The fresco representing the Virgin Mary with her Child, that the bishop Pappacoda made to restore in 1645, is very remarkable. On the terminal part of the altar there is the picture representing the Visitation, already documented in the XVII century.
