The Mother Church dedicated to St. John Baptist and St. Irene, was built in the XVI century on a XV century construction. The façade has a Renaissance portal, an enormous rose window and the sculpture of St. Peter, St. Paul and the Madonna. Inside there are altars and some canvasses representing holy images. The altar is attributed to the school of Giuseppe Zimbalo. Above it there are a wooden crucifix of the fifteenth century and the statues of Our Lady of Sorrows and St. John the Evangelist in polychrome stone.
