Description:
The Church of the Immaculate Conception is a baroque structure of the late eighteenth century and it was built between 1778 and 1787. This church stands on the ruins of an older structure with the same title. The church is considered one of the wonders of Lecce Baroque. The interior has a single nave and a rectangular apse. The vaulted ceiling with lunettes is covered with stuccos in the Rococo style. There are interesting paintings.
