The shrine of St. Gabriel is one of the most important and popular sanctuaries in Italy and Europe. Located in the foothills of the Gran Sasso, the sanctuary offers a wonderful view. From here in 15 minutes you can reach the Gran Sasso National Park, with its extensive forests and clear water springs. It stands at the bottom of the chain of Gran Sasso. Two million pilgrims come each year to pray at the tomb of the young student Passionist Saint Gabriel.
Every year in late August, thousands of young people, camp for five days at the Shrine for the Tent City-Festival, of young people, giving life to a meeting because of religious meetings, conferences, prayer, testimonies.In particular, the Tent City, arrived at the 19 th edition,is one of the most important youth events.
