The nucleus of the church in Salzburg and the most touching cemetery in the city. From 1125-47, the church of Sankt Peter, the only high-Romanesque basilica in the city which is still preserved, was built above the mausoleum dating from the 5th century. From 1924-26, the Collegium Benedictinum was added based on plans by Peter Behrens.
