no
The church was built from 1651, (sanctified in 1670), in Baroque style. It is one of the few ecclesial Baroque buildings which has not been destroyed by Turks when they occupied the city in 1683. As such, it provides a unique authentic experience of original Baroque decoration, including a Pieta on the main altar.
