Judenburg's single naved parish church of St Nicholas (c. 1500, altered in 17th and 19th C.) has side chapels with galleries above and two interesting figures, one of the Virgin and Child in sandstone (c. 1420) in the Chapel of Our Lady and a carved wooden statue of St Nicholas (18th C.). There are also figures of the Apostles. The parish church is an acceptable mix of Gothic and Baroque elements. Parish church (built after 1413, enlarged after 1478, rebuilt 1504-1537, from 1670 renovated in baroque style, 1899-1902 renovation of the exterior) with 10 baroque statues of the apostles (circa 1750) and limestone Madonna (circa 1420-1425) by Hans von Judenburg, since 1970 a collection of religious artworks in the north galleries.
