The amphitheatre is circumscribed by 25 squared pillars that maybe supported the arches of the external arcade. The entrances to the tiers of seats are provided by 16 staircases of which only 9 face the cavea. The arena is limited by the podium and is cut across by a perpendicular wall due to the gradient of the road. |
