| In Giulianova Lido, is the church of S. Maria a Mare, which was built in the 14th century by Atrian craftsmen on the site of a pre-existing Benedectine church. The brickwork façade features a stone portal dating from the early 14th century that recalls the Atrian style. The archivolt has plant and animal motifs, with two impost lions and a high relief depicting the MAdonna and Child. The interior is built to a two-aisle plan, with the aisles separated by rounded arches. |
