Description:
The congregation of SS.Rosario is the oldest of Mosciano Sant'Angelo as dates from the early seventeenth century. The church stands in the place which was called "Make the Cross." is circular and built entirely in brick. During the excavations was found a beautiful silver cross, finely chiselled and attributed to Benvenuto Cellini. The congregation of SS. Rosary, to meet expenses, sold the precious cross for 400 ducats. Then it would go to enrich the museum of Petrograd.
