| The ACQUAVIVA TOWER (1397), on the left side of the facade of the Cathedral Church, was built entirely of brick, has a square base, six feet high and 28 wide. Its construction took place after that of the wall, completed the whole defensive system that previously lacked an adequate means of observation and defense very far.From above, it offers magnificent views from the Adriatic to the Gran Sasso.
