| The Church of San Donato, Outside the Walls overlooking Castel del Monte from the top. The cult of the Bishop of Arezzo has ancient origins, dating back to the first half of the ninth century. According to tradition, the Benedictine monks, devoted themselves to sheep and cattle trails, spread among the pastoral communities of the miracles of the saint against epilepsy.
The interior has a nave. The roof is vaulted apse and ends with an altar of good quality with a central wooden statue of the saint. |
