| The Diocesan Civic Museum houses a significant collection of sacred art. Of processional objects, the 15th C. silver cross attributed to Nicola da Guardiagrele is particulary note-worthy, as is a reliquary coffer dated 1576 featuring a bas-relief in ebony and ivory. The former seminary, diocesan archives and library also house manuscripts belonging to the town, the most famous of which is the Codice Catena, which lists the city statues and is chained to the Banco del Camerario. |
