| Magnificent expression of military architecture, favorite residence of Maria d’Enghien, it was maybe built between 13th and 14th Century. It’s divided in 2 floors: of particular interest is the apsidal chapel set on the first floor, with an azure painted lunette vault, representing the sky. The 10 scenes narrate the stories about Magdalene whose cult was introduced by Angevins in the kingdom of Naples. |
