| It is the oldest in Apulia and, since, in the first years of its foundation, it was the only museum, it collected and also kept the relicts found in the towns of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto. The particular appeal of the Museum consists in displays of various recepticles: bowls “a figure nere” (with black figures) and “a figure rosse” (with red figures), craters and oinochoe. Not less rich and interesting is the Messapic pottery. |
