| The event traditionally takes place on the evening of August the15th. It is a race between wards and districts in preparing the most beautiful babe.
The streets are festively decorated with banners and flags with the colors of the districts of the country in order to be crossed during the parade in the afternoon of August also from the carts, flag twirlers and majorettes from. This folklore and cultural heritage is a great contribution to the rediscovery and appreciation of the traditions and values of the ancient people of Abruzzo.
