The complex of SS. Announced over the years has revealed numerous archaeological finds. In particular, emerged the remains of a Roman domus, perhaps the first imperial age, that are visible today in the so-called "museum in situ", in the rear of the building. The excavations have brought to light white mosaic floors with double strap black perimeter walls painted with pictorial diagrams of Pompeian style and megalography. This is a large wall panel representative of the god Pan sits among female figures. Other finds of great value are the walls of different eras (medieval, Renaissance and modern), whether "opus quasi reticulatum", fragments of pottery and oil lamps, coins of Augustus and Hadrian. The findings show the ancient history of the building and numerous reconstructive surgeries due to disastrous earthquakes that characterize our area.
