Some theses indicate its birth as early as the Norman period when, in the eleventh century, as a sign of their domination, they built a Baronial Castle (defined as a building around a tower). Then, in 1380, became the property of the Bishop; other argument, instead, be traced back directly to the construction of the Tower 1380 by Bishop overlord. The tower has a square base, with battlements and embrasures, spread over two floors, with fine and elaborate pavilion vaults and cross vaults. |
