| The ancient layout of the church of SS. Valentino e Damiano was rebuilt between 1777/1791, based on a design attribuited to Vanvitelli. The inside, a single nave with cupola, is enhanced by a rich decor, entrusted to Alessandro Terzani in 1795, and finished between 1844/46. The majestic stone facade house two towers, added to the 18th century church, in the 1920s-30s, to achieve one of the last unique expressions of stylistic combination. |
