| Its construction was begun in 1578 by Giovanni Antonio Albrizzi I and finished by his nephew Giovanni Antonio Albrizzi II in 1599. The part of the castle in question is the "Square Tower by oblique spurs." The extension was then by Pasquale Chyurlia I, Count of Cellino in 1742. The castle today proves to be much modified from its original structure. The building preserves its original structure, a stone balustrade with turned columns above the portal, now arch to communicate with via Mario Pagano. |
