| The 16th century Castle-mansion was built on the outskirts of the town, presumably on the site of the original castrum. The current configuration indicates that extensive alterations were undertaken and today's square mansion has blocks enclosing an elegant courtyard, with a high corbelled, square tower to the north. The entrance, inside the courtyard, is marked by an arched portal framed by ashlars. |
