| The history of the church dates from the 12th century and the first traces of his existence in documents are of Norman period. The church is the oldest architectural evidence of the medieval hamlet of Aurio, disappeared between the fifteenth and sixteenth century. The building, in Romanesque style, has a façade, decorated with a motif that is repeated too small arches laterally. The portal is surmounted by a lunette and is flanked by two lions, probably the base of a small porch. The roof is gabled. The church has a bell tower. The interior is divided into three aisles by eight columns, of which only four carriers, with a plant motif capitals, on which are set pointed arches. The aisles ending in apses in which some windows splayed. |
