| The Piccolomini Castle is located on top of a hill near the Valle Roveto, in a beautiful landscape. The imposing building looks like a massive stone structure, with several entrances, the main of which is within walking distance from the lush park. The castle has an irregular pentagonal and every corner is equipped with a massive circular tower. The tallest tower is square brackets in stone and brick arches and other circular towers are the same height of the curtain wall. A bull in a stone marks the end of the taper of each tower. |
