| Below Casarin Hill. Go around the Pinewood on the side of the theater, and then down the old road, La Via Viecch', that goes to the Fontenuova, the "New Fountain". The work is by Giuliano Giuliani, an artist from Ascoli Piceno. It is a very white travertine slab placed in front of the Maiella Mountain. The sculpture, in dialogue with the larger monolith, seems to express a new point of view. |
