| The church of San Pietro in Valle, of the XIII century, has undergone many reconstructions throughout the centuries, it houses important frescoes that have a high quality in design; for the lively colours, for the period in wich they were painted. This church, like many other isolated churches in Abruzzo, had the function of being the place of worship for the shepards on the road of the sheeptracks. |
