| The Church of Purgatory, once dedicated to the memory of San Martino, was built in the first half of the eighteenth century. Of baroque style in its interior still fine paintings, altars and an organ with Neapolitan invoice. Beneath the sacred building, originally, was buried part of the population - including many children, given the high rate of infant mortality - that the extreme poverty, had no place in churches |
