| In the manuscript of C. Riccanale says that the church was founded by Adalbert in 819 (Benedictine and bishop of Teramo). The exterior reflects the number of modifications made during the centuries. Currently the interior is a nave.
Inside there are a shrine inlaid furniture sacristy and altars, the work of Fra Giovanni Palombieri and his collaborators, dating from 1762. In one of the side chapels is a painting of the seventeenth century, a modest bill, with the Annunciation, the Holy Pope and S. Joseph. The church was also accompanied the cloister, but no trace remains of it. |
