| Its original nucleus is the tower, 25 meters high, built by Goffredo Altavilla the Norman around 1110 and the entry matching. At present, the castle has a trapezoidal shape, with the four corners occupied by four towers, one cylindrical, one and two quadrangular polygonal. Dates back to 1710 the valuable monumental entrance, built by the Countess Dorothy Acquaviva d'Aragona.
