| Built in 1730, is located 7km to the provincial-Putignano Conversano. Its function was to occasional abode for Acquaviva of Aragon, the counts of Conversano, during the hunt. In the eighteenth century, the building was surrounded by a thick forest of oaks now replaced by almond and cherry trees. The structure has a rectangular shape, surrounded by four round towers at the 4 corners and is composed of a ground floor, a mezzanine and an upper floor. Externally there are loggias of which communicate with the circular terraces on the top of the towers. The ground floor and the mezzanine, are dominated by a central staircase access with multiple ramps providing access through a mullioned window to ground floor entrance. The scalinta is adorned with decorative balustrades supported by columns that are followed in all its extension. Internally there are several rooms that bear paintings and artistic-cultural evidence that adorn the majestic architecture |
