The present structure of the church is the result of an extension of 1639, restoration of the eighteenth and nineteenth-century changes, as documented by numerous recordings of these dates in several places in the church. Inside, the nave is divided into three sections by two large arches and is topped by a painted wooden ceiling dating from the eighteenth century in poor condition .. In the central part of the church is placed a stone canopy, perhaps century, with frescoes damaged by too much time. One of the three sections, separated from the rest by a wooden balustrade, is bound to the presbytery and in it is placed the Baroque high altar, dated 1741, in gold painted wood divided into three parts. The two side niches are the statues of St. Andrew and St. Peter, while in the central part there is a painting of the Madonna of the Souls in Purgatory, is depicted in the tympanum above the Eternal Father. In one of the columns supporting the arches is a set, dominated by a small mask in relief, the Cross of indulgences that Pope Leo XIII granted in 1901.
