| The complex is located in the historic centre. The convent was founded in 1671 by the Discalced Carmelites; the church was begun in 1690, and was used as barracks and prison for women in the nineteenth and early twentieth century. Today in the cloister is the Provincial Library Culture and Arts of Santa Teresa of Males.
The complex is in Baroque style. Inside: paintings by Andrea Miglionico (eighteenth century), altar cloths, statues of the Mysteries of the Passion.
