| It was founded in 1132 by the Norman King Roger II. It was rebuilt in 1233 by Emperor Frederick II, and modified by the Angevins and Aragonese between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries. Today it is the Superintendence for the architectural and landscape of the Province of Bari and Foggia Bat. Exhibits different styles medieval Norman, Swabian, Angevin and Aragonese. There is a moat on three sides, the corner ramparts spear and keep. |
