| The church of San Nicola is a church built outside the walls of the town of Fasano in 1596. The customer left also expressed his will on the will to dedicate the church to the saint of Myra, and gave 700 ducats for the cause of different currencies. In 1887 the church became the property of Prince Vincenzo Telesio, who restored and dedicated to the Virgin of the Rosary. Subsequently, the church passed into the care of the Rosary Confraternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Among the works on display are a stone relief representing St. Nicholas, a nineteenth century organ and statues in papier-mache (San Domenico, the Risen Christ, St. Catherine and Saints Cosma and Damiano). |
