| It is also called "Church of the Nuns" for the presence of the nuns of the Benedictine Congregation of the Oblates in the adjacent orphanage De Leo-Azzariti. The church, built in 1823 by Salvatore Azzariti, is notable mainly for the portal, with two Corinthian columns and two pilasters supporting the entablature. In monastic center, housed in part from the birthplace of Annibale De Leo (archbishop of Brindisi), contain some paintings: St. Teresa of Avila, St. Joseph Transit and Virgin with Child.
