Description:
The monastery was founded by the Cistercians in the second half of the thirteenth century. The church was restored in the late-nineteenth-century. It is home of the Franciscan Friars Minor from 1894, and is home to the parish. It was built in a mixed Romanesque-Gothic style. Inside the church are: a sculpture of St. Leo the Great (XVII century); traces of frescoes of the fourteenth century.
