| The monastery was built between 1571 to 1575 by the Capuchin Fathers. The church was finished towards the end of the sixteenth century. Outside has a Baroque façade.
Inside there is a wooden statue of St. Francis, originally belonging to the convent of the Conventual friars, then donated to the Capuchin Fathers in 1816.
On the main altar there is a wooden crucifix of the Venetian school of the XVI century, donated in 1692 by the family Cucumazzo, and a painting on canvas, Calvary, the painter Nicholas Gliri from Bitonto (1692) with the coats of arms of families developers, Cucumazzo and Esperti.
