| The church of Our Lady of Sorrows is located in historic centre. The building was erected in the eighteenth century in neoclassical style. Today it is home of the Congregation. Until 1962 it had a small bell tower with three bells. In the church, which still preserves the eighteenth-century furniture and decorations, there are paintings of Carlo Mastroponti and statues of Niccolò Quartarula, several frescoes and an altarpiece, "The Glory of St. Benedict", painted by Giovanni Petruzzi, painter-carver from Troia. Of note the wooden statue of Our Lady of Sorrows of Giacomo Colombo. |
