| The church is localized near the hamlet of Cesano, about a mile from Terlizzi. The church was erected in 1055 in place of an older chapel. It has a very simple structure, the Romanesque style. Inside is covered to the roof is a single room, with dimensions of 9.00 x 5,00 meters. In the apse, there is a fine Byzantine fresco depicting Christ Pantocrator between the Virgin and St. John the Baptist. On an inner wall of the tower-front facade, built in the fifteenth century there is a fresco of the Madonna and Child.
