Description:
Once stood outside the city on the way to Ruvo, and isolated. The exterior facade shows a simple cusp. The interior is a single room. Seventeenth-century altar a wooden frame carved and gilded protects a fresco of the Madonna and Child by setting Byzantine perhaps the painter identified by the initials ZT (early sixteenth century). There is also a painted statue of the Madonna and Child with putti, the Neapolitan Francesco Verzella (1811). Also keeps a venerated statue of Lecce papier mache representing the Archangel Gabriel and the Virgin of the Annunciation.
