| The Palace of De Gemmis barons, among the best examples of civil architecture in Bari, is located on the road of the Observant and prime location at the corner of the junction in front of the convent and Molfetta.
It was built by Tommaso De Gemmis between 1743 and 1755, and designed by architect Luigi Vanvitelli. Built in neoclassical style, the building is rectangular in shape with an inner courtyard. It is clad in rusticated, and performs in front and a rich portal vanvitelliano above a stone balcony surmounted by a large coat of arms.
