The memorial collection at Labin is dedicated to Matthias Flacius Illyricus who was a notable European thinker from the sixteenth century. The concept for the collection was made by Professor Matko Rojnic in 1969. The collection includes books and articles by Matthias Flacius himself as well as including items that are related to him and the Reformation. A documenter centre and reading room will soon be open to researchers.
