| Lastovo Archipelago Nature Park was founded recently in 2006 and it covers 195.83 square kilometres of land and sea. The nature park includes 44 islands, cliffs and reefs, the largest islands being Lastovo and Susac. It is hoped to encourage traditional agricultural farming in the area. The park has a number of endemic and rare plants as well as animals. |
