The characteristic twin-towered Baroque church which stands on the main square of Esztergom-Víziváros (Water Town) was built by the Jesuits between 1728 and 1738, it was consecrated to St Ignatius Loyola. The towers were built in 1788. (www.vendegvaro.hu)
