Description:
St Barbara is a small church from the 19th century, although there are records about an older church from the 18th century on this location. The church is dedicated to the martyr St. Barbara, who suffered to death for Christ's faith in 306 and whose relics are in Kiev. In the yard of St Barbara a road sign with the name Lychnidos (the old name of Ohrid) was found. The church can be found between the church St. Sofia and the Roman Amphitheater on the street Ilindenska.
