| The parish church of Sts. Michael the Archangel was built in Osijek Fort as a church of the Jesuits. located on the western Križanića George Square. The building is in the direction northeast - southwest. Looks fit the complex Baroque Fortress. Monumental Church Edition - 42m long, 25m high and 47m high towers. The second is the space in Osijek, just behind the parish church of Sv. Peter and Paul in the Upper Town.
Completed in the mid-18th the century. The large church was built in Baroque style with a wide façade with two bell towers. The facade is characterized by rows of windows on several floors, which is unusual for a continental Croatian sacral architecture of that era.
On the same square of the previously occurred and the Jesuit residence, built in the 1719th year. After the abolition of the Jesuit order, in that the residence occupied by the Franciscans, and the church became a parish church.
