| This edifice, built between the 15C and 16C, has a façade adorned with a superb rose window and a carved frieze depicting fantastic motifs. The interior is home to religious treasures such as the diptych of the Annunciation, attributed to Tintoret or his workshop, and the miraculous 13C icon of the Virgin of the island. Note the Gothic Renaissance baldaquin of the master altar, adorned with a painting by Tintoret depicting the town's three benefactors (1550). The Gothic door of the sacristy is also worth looking out for. |
