The Church of the Holy Spirit was first mentioned in the year 1516. It was the seat of the Ormož Vicariate, and since around the year 1600 it was the seat of the vicariate parish. The scheme of the present church originated between the years 1515–1519. In 1908 and 1909 the west part of the nave was built on to that plan, the late Gothic bell tower with Baroque additions was raised and finished pyramid style, and on the south side of the presbytery the vestry was additionally constructed. On the exterior there are two relief spolias built into the church; the first depicts the pelican group from the beginning, while the second one depicts the Crucified with two adorers from the late 16th century. South of the church stands a one floor building of the old Središče school from the year 1812 (which served its purpose until the year 1891), while beyond Črnec is a similar building of the parish (the former wooden one was destroyed by fire in 1777) with a cross emblem above the rectangular portal and the year 1780. Inside, the wooden statue of God the Father is kept - the remains of the major composition 'Mercy Throne' from the last fifth of the 14th century. Between the church and the road in the middle of the plantation stands an obelisk-like monument with the names of those who died in the First World War. At the closing of the graveyard in the year 1787 the ossuary and the Chapel of St. Anne from the year 1519 stood by the church, but they were torn down in the years 1791 and 1812. Among other things, in the church you can see the rustic statue of the Lamenting Madonna, the stone oval pulpit, the late Gothic stone tabernacle and the wooden statue of God the Father.
