| The early Christian building is located in the district of Sant'Angelo.
It was built by Bishop Sabino in the fifth on the ruins of the temple of Minerva, and recover much of the structure and architectural elements of this. The church has a square central plan of about 50 m. per side and each of them has at its center an apse. Remain in sigh the ambulatory, whith its twelve pairs of pillars, some mosaics that covered the floor, which include the peacock and birds, symbols of paradise.
