Description:
The Baptistery of San Giovanni dates from the sixth-eighth centuries. The central body was of dodecagonal shape; with four arms in correspondence of the cardinal points The structure contained a baptismal heptagonal. Almost entirely missing are the columns that supported the ceiling, upholstery and gilded mosaic Source (likely to be of Byzantine style). During 1800 was used as a mill.
