Description:
The early Christian church of Santa Maria and San Salvatore, with three aisles, was rediscovered in the high Middle Ages-in the courtyard of the baptistery. In the same period in the apse of the altar was made a pit where they were placed the bones of a saint. A few decades after the church was abandoned and the site was a cemetery destination. The hall came to be occupied in the nineteenth century when it was made of the settling tank of a mill.
